The actual error message is not "delete php", but it's
QuoteThe installer has already been run successfuly once and is now locked.

If you want to run the installer again, you first need to delete the 'include/install.lock' file that was created in the directory where you put Coppermine. You can do this with any FTP program.
You should do as suggested in the error message instead of wild guessing.

Hi,

thank you guys for your direction - to delete the include/lock file.

unfortunately, I cannot find the lock file under include folder.

what's the exact name of this file ?  "lock"  ?

pse help.

Joachim Müller

As suggested in the error message, the file is named "install.lock" and it resides inside the "include" folder on your server (as it is created during install). It doesn't exist in your local copy.
