Newest pics on frontpage

Is there a simple way to add the newest uploaded pics auomaticilly through a php code on the frontpage of a website?

is this a Integration / Bridging issue 
you should go to:
admin mode=>config=>Album list view=>The content of the main page
and add lastup,2 to the value
2 is number of row you can put any other number .

This is not exactly what I mean. I'm sorry for my shortness! What I mean is this:

- my frontpage is at http://frontpage.klifix.nl/
- my gallery is at http://www.klifix.nl/gallery/
- On the frontpage I have Wordpress installed and used as a CMS
- On my frontpage I'd like to add a column with the latest uploaded pics in the gallery

I'm a bit of a noob on this, and I thought this was the right forum for this question...

Is this possible?
