... but filename and link are there ...

Situation: I deleted a whole bunch of categories and albums from the database (several hundred), using albmgr2/catmgr.  I deleted the folder in /albums/ on my FTP server that had the categories/albums/pics in them that I deleted.  I then repaired and optimized my database using phpMyAdmin.  However, links to these pictures are popping up (sans picture, of course) in the Random Pics area on the index.php page.  When you click on one, you get the error "Album Not Found".

Any suggestions?  Thanks in advance.

Why did you delete stuff using your FTP app? When using Coppermine's user interface, both the database records as well as the files get deleted, there's no need for additional fiddling with your FTP app. You probably deleted the wrong stuff using FTP, which leads to broken images being displayed in coppermine.
Can't say more without knowing what you actually did. Usually, posting a deep link to the page that contains the broken pics would help as well.

@ bmossavari: Yep.  The old directories appear to be in that table, when viewed with phpMyAdmin.  Any ideas on how to delete them from that?

@ GauGau: Because after I deleted them using the Coppermine tools (see my above post), the directories were still present on my FTP server when I checked via FTP, thus I deleted them with FTP.

I also *can't* (or at least, "don't know how to") post a deep link to the page that contains the broken pics because a) these are the random preview pics on index.php and b) if I sent you a link to one of these preview pics, it'd just return the error "The selected album/file does not exist !"

If there's something else you request, please ask and I'll try to provide.

@ bmossavari: I think I figured it out: I went to phpMyAdmin, opened up the cpg143_pictures table, hit search and hit go.  I then browsed to the offending category name and started deleting stuff.

Then went to my CPG main page and refreshed a dozen times: no random pics linked without pics.

I'd say that's fixed me up.  Thanks for the pointer.
