I have the following issue when trying to bridge coppermine and phpbb 2.0.12:
I cannot get manual access to bridgemanager to disable it. when accessing http://www.dcstreet.com/coppermine/bridgemgr.php, i simply get:
"You don't have permission to access this page."

EDIT: and i can no longer log in to my forums since upgrading coppermine. ugh. this is a mess. please help asap, i have over 300 members and sponsors to keep happy  :-[

Coppermine install: http://dcstreet.com/coppermine
Forum install: http://dcstreet.com/forums
Coppermine version: cpg1.4.8
Forum version: phpBB 2.0.12
Test user account: cannot login at all to make accounts

BridgeManager settings:
Forum URL:  http://dcstreet.com/forums
Relative path to your BBS's config file:  ../forums/config.php
Use post-based groups?:  0

You are not bridged. You must of course login to Coppermine before you can use the bridge manager to setup a bridge. If you are not able to login to your forum in order to make a test account then that is not a coppermine issue.

Joachim Müller

As Nibbler suggested: Coppermine's bridging process doesn't touch nor harm the Forum. If the forum is not working as expected, Coppermine is not to blame. Fix your Forum login issues (possibly asking for support on the SMF support board), then try bridging Coppermine with your working Forum.

i understand the forum issue isn't directly related the cp issue. just a weird coincedence i guess  :-\

how can i log in to coppermine as admin to use the bridge manager? any ideas?

Joachim Müller

Bridging is disabled on your Coppermine gallery, so you should be able to log in with the admin account you created when setting up Coppermine in the first place.

i've been running coppermine for nearly a year now. it's been bridged with phpBB for the past 8 months. i just updated to the latest version when i lost the ability to log in. the u/p i used for the original and for the bridged versions no longer works.

Check the username and password using phpmyadmin. Set yourself a new password if necessary.
