Install or upgrade? Link?

kirky

well I installed and then I replaced the theme from old coppermine gallery I had. Changed hosting companies after losing the databases so i did a fresh install.

I thought I had done that a couple of months ago after I upgraded before the server crash, i didnt think it was that old. So I have to do it everytime I upgrade to a newer version? I am currently running version 1.4.2 which is what i added with fantastico through my cpanel.

You only need to make that update when you move from 1.3 to 1.4 or want to use a 1.3 theme on a 1.4 gallery. It is imperative that you update to 1.4.8. Instructions are provided in the download. Don't use fantastico.

Thanks I ended up just installing the new files and went back to changing the theme of the classic look. Was so much easier that way.
