Hopefully this is the right place to put this.

I've spent all night on here searching through the posts. I saw a bunch of posts that were relative to my problem, but haven't come across a fix.  I'm not a wiz when it comes to new things, so perhaps I overlooked something.

My host recently moved all the ohsted sites onto a new server. The database name is named using the old server domain, so I don't know if that has anything to do with it or not.  I changed everything else to point to the new one.

The other day I was in my gallery uploading pix and got that familiar "There was an error while processing a database query" error.  I hadn't changed anything and was only uploading photos. I read that it was something to do with space, and that's when I saw my site space was maxed so I got my host to add more but before he did, the error went away on its own.

Then a gallery user told me they could get to the thumbs but when they clicked on them, it gave them the same error.  I as admin can see the photos fine, so I'm unsure as to why I log in as a user and then I get the error.  Why would admin be able to see the photos and not the users?

When I upgraded a while ago, I didn't bring over my old template.  I made changes in the Hardwired theme just to add a few extra buttons and things.

When I turned on debug mode, I keep seeing the following:

QuoteNotices
/include/themes.inc.php

    * Notice line 2174: Undefined index: uid
    * Notice line 1877: Undefined index: uid

/displayimage.php

    * Notice line 319: Undefined variable: meta_keywords

I had a few files missing from the upgrade and I got a new copy of the upgrade files and moved them over so the log showed no missing ones.

I went in and repaired the database but that had no effect.  Tried different themes (ones I never edited) and I still get the errors).  Any ideas?

Edit:  I just saw that these aren't actually errors, just notes in debug mode. But the inability for users to see images still exists. I sent a friend of mine the direct gallery image link and it worked for her that way, just not by clicking the thumbnail.  ?

Edit 2: I re-chmod'd my albums folder. I'm still not sure, though.  I created a test account if anyone has a moment and can pop in, go to an album and click a thumbnail to see if the large photo shows up.

It works ok for me, so I'm not sure what the problem is. Try disabling hit stats in config.

Do you think it could have been the chmod settings?  After I put everything in the albums folder to 777, I stopped getting the error (still wanted to make sure here though).  Should the "edit" and non-uploaded (as in my own folders, not ones that were in the upgrade) all be set to 777 in the /albums dir as well?  I don't think they were before, but they are now.

It's unlikely, but it's hard to tell without having the actual error message. Issue solved?

Weird. Worries me that it just popped up and went away like that if the chmod wasn't the reason. I thought it may have been set so only I/admin could see the pix. Would have made sense why the users wouldn't have since they'd not have the permissions to.

Now people are saying the get no error ubt also no photo but just the page background.  I'm thinking they're just not scrolling over to the centre to get past the debug stuff that's making the page scroll horizontally.

Though someone else managed to find the photos and they can see them, and I can in user mode, so I think it's solved.

Thanks for your help!
