Newbie - All graphics and albums missing

I'm new so please go easy. There must be a simple solution to this...but I can't figure it out.

I've re-installed version 1.4.8 and don't see any graphics or albums. is there a check box that I'm missing / file permissions maybe. Here's the site. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated

Either the images are not readable or you have hotlink protection setup wrongly.

Would I change the hotlink settings at the server???

the hotlink was the problem - I changed it at the server. now it works fine
