I've done it many times before and it's always worked, through ftp and file manager... but this time with version 1.4 it isnt working.... I have used the same filename (site_logo.png) and allowed the overwriting, and I refresh my page but it still shows the old banner and not the new one. Is it a bug? It's odd.

1) You're probably not talking about the file uploading mechanisms of coppermine, so you posted in the wrong board. Moving accordingly
2) We're not mind readers. Posting a link helps. Maybe you'll even want to post several ones: one to your gallery, one to the logo you uploaded.

‍I don't answer to PM with support question
Please post your issue to related board

Rightio and there's no need to be rude, if you guys marked out these categories more holistically it'd be a hell of a lot easier to find the right categories to post in!

Joachim Müller

What's the use of your reply? I haven't been rude at all - there's no reason to launch a counter-attack. If you actually want help, do as suggested and post the links as suggested.

That's rude to me.

What do you see when you access the new uploaded picture directly via http?

The wrong one => upload error
The right one => coppermine config error (or browser not refreshing)

Are you trying to be confrontational? Just do as I suggested if you want help:

If you fail to do so, I guess that you don't want support. I'll close this thread then.

Pastinakel,

I don't get an error message, it appears to upload perfectly... it's when I refresh the gallery to try and see the new image uploaded but it never changes from the old one, and it doesnt at all seem to be a problem with my browser. It appears the overriding (which I allow when uploading the file) doesnt seem to be working, in neither FTP nor Filemanager.
