Question about plugins

First day with Coppermine and it startet well.

Two quenstions:
1. When I have installed a plugin, where do I SEE what I can modify with it?
I have looked in every menu, but I can't find any change of more options.

2. How can I block some functions like commenting pictures?

One question per thread. Neither of these questions are about installing. Since 2. is answered in the manual I will answer question 1. It depends on the plugin. Read the thread dealing with the plugin for details on how it works.
