How do I set up CPG to allow image uploads by multiple anonymous guests to specified galleries?

I have tried all sorts of configuration combinations and work arounds, but nothing seems effective.

Ultimately, leading up to this, what I would like to achieve is:
User registers : Searches for appropriate pre-created album: selects album: uploads image(s): album password allows upload.

If this is beyond CPG's capability - can you point me in the direction of a solution?
