Problem with picture display

Hi,

I set up Coppermine via cPanel and Fantastico tools with SiteGround provider. Everything seems to work fine, mostly, with one major (and bizzarre) problem: all uploaded pictures, of any size, only show the "alt" value in Firefox, and all pictures, even the ones comprising the theme structure, show as missing under IE. When I view the source, I find the <img> tage, and when I paste their "src" attribute in the URI field, the pictures pop up fine -- thumbnails, intermediates, and full-size; but in the actual gallry display, only the "alt" values are visible!

What's more, when I reload the page, the image entities on the page flash the frames in the correct size, sometimes even the thumbnail images themselves -- and then, when the page completes loading, it looks like some JavaScript thingy kicks in, and replaces them with just the alt values.

Also, what might be relevant is that apparently some entities -- film strips it seems, and presumably some others -- show up as short black vertical bars.

My gallery is at photos.danilchenko.net. The problem is fairly self-evident. Does anyone have any idea what is going on here?

Either disable hotlink protection or set it up correctly. Update your gallery.

That seems like it should work, and I keep feeling as if I saw the hotlink protection setting somewhere in Coppermine, but I cannot find it now. Is this provided by Coppermine, or is that something my provider would have set up?

No. Either set up by you or your webhost.

Cha-ching! Muchas gracias, senor. That was indeed the provider-side problem.
