I've uploaded a bunch of pictures, and regardless of which set (they are seperated by folders) I keep getting this error:

QuoteWarning: opendir(): SAFE MODE Restriction in effect. The script whose uid is 32008 is not allowed to access /home/brainphr/public_html/pics/albums/Digital Camera owned by uid 0 in /home/brainphr/public_html/pics/searchnew.php on line 178

Warning: opendir(albums/Digital Camera/011304 Water Cooling/): failed to open dir: No such file or directory in /home/brainphr/public_html/pics/searchnew.php on line 178

Warning: readdir(): supplied argument is not a valid Directory resource in /home/brainphr/public_html/pics/searchnew.php on line 179

Warning: closedir(): supplied argument is not a valid Directory resource in /home/brainphr/public_html/pics/searchnew.php on line 189

I tried to CHMOD 775, perhaps it didnt have rights to do what it needs.. but that didnt work either - I searched this forum also, but nothing came up :(

Any ideas? Thanks in advanced!

Have you tried silly_safe_mode.  See docs for how.
And try chmod to 777.
It has been a long time now since I did my little bit here, and have done no coding or any other such stuff since. I'm back to being a noob here

Apparenty, this is a bug in the program.

The folders are listed with the date infront (ie 02.04.03) - for some reason, coppermine does  NOT like this at all - when I remove the "." from it, it had no problem seeing the pictured.

All i did was rename all the folders, and things went fine.

Casper

Thats not due to coppermine, it's down to unix/linux servers not recognising such folders.

do not shout "bug" so easily, take your time to read the posting casper made. You seem to suffer from a host with (improperly configured) safe mode. Shouting "bug" won't make you friends with the people around here if you don't try what supporters tell you...
