I just finished the bridging and now I am trying to figure out how to let my members upload their own pics.
Site: atlanticanglers.com/forum
album: atlanticanglers.com/album
user: test
pass: password
cpg143

If any mods need the admin info, let me know.

Thanks

You're actually running cpg1.4.8

The login doesn't stick, moving this thread to bridging sub-board. Do as suggested on the sticky thread "When requesting bridge support - mandatory!"

The log in works fine. I can go back and forth from the album to the forum. I don't understand why you moved it.
I just need to know how to let users upload pictures. Thanks

I had this trouble and found out that after you have created your catergories and albums go back to the album list and click on a catergory you will see on the albums .. "delete, properties, edit files" click the properties and click where it says "visitors can upload files".
when I first saw this i thought visitors meant guests but it means members, so if its clicked then your members should be able to upload assuming you have set the permissions to be able to ;)
you have to do this on every album you create which i thought was a pain..unless ive missed something??

No, you haven't missed anything - that's how Coppermine works. That's how the documentation explains it as well. There are several hacks available that change default permissions for albums inside the public galleries, and you can easily run a query in a third-party tool like phpMyAdmin to set all existing albums accordingly.

ok thanks for that but thats a bit over my head ;)
