Okay.. So I have coppermine installed. I set up 4 set gallerys I want these to be the main gallerys and I want users to be able to contribute to these gallerys. How do I do this? How do I make it able for users to upload? Thanks!

i am getting this message

"Error:
Sorry there is no album where you are allowed to upload files  "

Then create One !
Users can't upload if they didn't have album , use album button and create at least one album
or as an admin allow visitors to upload file on one of public albums by changing album properties (Visitors can upload files *) to yes
‍I don't answer to PM with support question
Please post your issue to related board

I have the same problem. I have created two albums and set the permission in the Groups for registered to be able to upload files for Public Album Update and when I signed in as the member, I got "Sorry there is no album where you are allowed to upload files"  URL is www.helitown.com/gallery and user ID test and password is test123. Please advice what else I have to do to allow the registered to upload pictures to public albums?
Thanks

Doesn't work for me. Provide a working test user account (not an admin account).

Could someone please provide some clarification on this? I believe I have digested all the documentation and tried various permutations but a User can't upload a file even to a public Album unless he/she has previously created an album for themselves. Is this correct?

It would be easier if any registered user could upload a file to a public album but I can'r for the life of me configure this on my website.

Any help much appreciated.
Negative karma and proud of it...

Did you resolve this?  If so please post how!

When trying to hijack someone else's thread, make sure to read it; I told the thread starter what he needs to do if he wants help. If you want help on similar issues, my advice posted applies to you as well: post a link to your coppermine-driven gallery and a non-admin test user account.
You might as well take a screenshot of your groups panel and attach it to your posting.

Sorry, I didn't intend to hijack the thread, I just wanted to know if the OP had resolved his problem and if so how.  I'll post my specific problem to a separate thread.
