cannot upload pics - admin

Rather new at this and need a bit of help I can't find in the FAQ.

Just got done setting up Coppermine last night. Logged in today and set up a few categories for people to upload pics to. I thought I had all the permissions set correctly, but when I tried to upload a pic as a test I got this..."Sorry there is no album where you are allowed to upload files" error message.

I again checked permissions and all registered and guests are allowed to upload without admin approval. I then made an account for myself rather than using the admin account and the same message appears when I try to upload to one of the public albums.

Now I'm at a loss. Any help what I possibly did wrong or need to do?

Uploads don't go into categories, but albums. As the error message suggests, you need to create at least one album. Please read the documentation that comes with coppermine before asking questions, as this is covered there in detail.

 ::)Gah .... don't know how I missed that, but couldn't find reference to it in the FAQ. I figured the one listed as "My Album" would take it.

No matter - I created a few albums and all is well.
