Error message after upgrading to cpg 1.49

Hi,

I just upgraded to cpg 1.49.
I went to my site and got this error msg :
"Parse error: parse error, unexpected $ in /home/photogr1/public_html/bridge/coppermine.inc.php on line 80"

I just ftp the file again, coppermine.in.php.
I tried to reach the page in browser - same error message.

do I need to run update.php again?

pse advise.

The file is corrupted. You need to upload a non corrupted version of the file. Download the coppermine package again to make sure you have a clean copy.
