I setup my two coppermine galleries and they work pretty good, but I wanted to take it one step further and have personalized/different headers when browsing certain categories in my gallery. Is that possible or am I pushing it a bit far?

Check out this mod and see if it suits your needs - http://coppermine-gallery.com/forum/index.php?topic=25471.0.
Did you read the manual first???? Taking 2 minutes to backup your files can save you hours of wondering what you screwed up.
