Upgraded 1.4.09 to 1.4.10 successfully on laptop (Windows OS, Apache2, php and MySQL).  Ran versioncheck - all files green or n/a.

Uploaded gallery from laptop to web host server (Linux).  Ran upadate.php .  All checks showed OK or Already Done.  Ran version check.  Result was blank screen after long load time.  Although the gallery appears to be running correctly, and in config mode shows v1.4.10 stable, I am a little concerned that versioncheck has a glitch.

An ideas on the problem's cause? php and MySQL versions are different between laptop and server, but update was run on the web host server, so I cannot see that that is  relevant.

Deleted all but albums folder from web server.  Uploaded package leaving albums.  Uploaded old config.inc.php file, and old custom theme.  Set permissions. Ran update.php  Successful.  Ran versioncheck.php.  Same result as before.  I am wondering if somehow I have not set permissions on some file/folder correctly - but as every thing seems to be working fine, I think I'll live with it until/if there is a glitch.  But I'd be interested to know of any possible cause for the problem.

There is not a major problem - only test pictures up so far - members expected to start loading their pictures next week.

Thank you.  That solved the problem - and highlighted a couple of things I had to sort - now done.
