registered users in SMF and CPG

Ok, I have like 200+ people registered in my Coppermine gallery and now I have just bridged SMF with CPG... however the users in CPG aren't integrated with SMF; there's only 1 account in SMF, which is the account I made during the installation. How do I integrate the 200+ users with SMF? 



These info aren't necessary, but since it is mandatory, here it is:

BridgeManager settings:

Please (re-)read the documentation to understand what bridging does: it doesn't import the users existing in Coppermine into your BBS, but the other way round - the users existing in Coppermine are lost when bridging, being replaced by the users that exist in your Forum.

Does this mean that, after bridgeing, all NEW users should only be created via the board and not Coppermine? i.e. Should I remove the Register button from Coppermine.

Register button will redirect to your forum.

I am so glad I saw this before attempting to bridge my forum! I have users on CPG that are not part of the forum, and they should not be bumped just becuase I bridged.

Hehe, show me the commercial gallery app that can do this (bridge to another app and import the old users at the same time into the bbs). We're not working on this because it doesn't make sense and would make the code extremely dangerous, as a coppermine-to-BBS exporter would be messing with the BBS database and could subsequently ruin your entire BBS if the BBS devs choose to update their app; something that we can not control and therefor can not integrate into the package. People would hate us if something Coppermine did would ruin another app they're using and not have issues with. That's why the feature you're looking for is not on the agenda.
Don't draw false conclusions. Bashing open-source apps because you don't understand how things work in the background is not a bright idea.
Bottom line: if you prefer to use commercial apps, that's fine. If you want to use coppermine, but need the feature badly, hire someone to write the code that does what you're up to. That's the whole idea of open source: you're welcome to hack it to do stuff that the regular package doesn't. However, you can't complain if the open source app doesn't have every feature that you could think of. Even commercial apps don't always have all features that users ask for. If they had everything users demand, Windows would come with an in-built virus scanner and many other features that Microsoft refuses to integrate although they are being considered to be mandatory.

Imo your comment ("you get what you pay for") is just lame. You need it - you code it.
