Taking a shot I'll get an answer here ....

I was just notified by my host that they would soon be upgrading PHP on their Linux and Windows servers to the new 5.2 version.
Are their any problems we can expect with Coppermine PHP files and the new version? According to the little I read on the link below (don't understand a WORD of it, frankly) there are a lot of changes to the code.

Appreciate any info on this.

Afaik Coppermine hasn't been tested with PHP5.2 yet, so I can't tell for sure. But I don't think that it is going to be a show-stopper.

Okat ... reading through the text file supplied gave me the impression a LOT of changes were in there, and there were also a lot of tips on possible code changes that would be required.

This takes a load off because I would not be able to fix the code.
