Sorry I asked about this once, but I did not have an answer how to do it. But I found one website using this modification to browse pictures, chose album and upload in one step only. Pls find a picture of the upload page as attached. Can anyone help to make the same? Thanks.

I would suggest asking the admin of that gallery about what Mods or Hacks he's using.
But maybe the Mod is already in the forums, I don't know... Did you look?

Just set the number of file upload fields to "1" and the number of uri upload fields to "0". No particular mod needed.

lamama

lol... see, you learn something new every little day  ;D

@Iced Coffee:
go to the groups settings and set
- number of boxes to "fixed"
- File upload boxes: 1
- URI upload boxes: 0

But as convienient this may look - IMHO it has a small drawback: the uploader is confronted with plenty of fields for keywords, description, title - without seeing the pic he's about to upload.

Iced Coffee

Ah yes, it's easy, but the purpose of my question is to chose something like this:

- number of boxes to "fixed"
- File upload boxes: 10
- URI upload boxes: 0

And then it show 10 of the same like that in a window so that we don't have to browse for pictures, and then select album for each picture,.... which takes too much time.

Sorry if the answer is: Need my own coding skill.

I actually have no coding skill.

;D

I guess you'll have to stick with what is currently available then.

Thanks anyway for the lovely gallery software. I'll stick to it.
