"Users" Link in Admin Panel

Hello

I noticed within the last two days that clicking the "Users" link in the Admin Menu results into 2 things:

* Users page won't load
* the mysql user for the gallery DB maxes out its connections

There are 17000+ members though.  Could that be it?  And if yes, is there a way to prevent this from happening?

It's a problem that arises sometimes where one user has uploaded the vast majority of the files. If that is the case on your gallery then try the fix posted at http://coppermine-gallery.com/forum/index.php?topic=27540.msg129081#msg129081
