Everything was fine 2 weeks ago. Today I was going to post more pics and I couldn't. I've done as suggested here and I haven't been able to fix it yet. At the batch add page, I get red crosses instead of the thumbs of the pics i haven't posted yet at any album, even those i uploaded to my site when things were working fine. I get this message when I try to upload the files either HTTP or batch-adding:

Critical error

PHP running on your server does not support the GD image library, check with your webhost if ImageMagick is installed

File: /home/ikercas/public_html/gallery/include/picmgmt.inc.php - Line: 254

There's nothing wrong with that file. I've tried to upload pics with admin mode and user mode, and I get the same.

please, can you help me?

the gallery is this http://www.iker-casillas.net/gallery and you may use the user 'tester'. Ask me for the password with a private message.

We're not begging to be allowed to help you. You're suppossed to post the test user account (user name and password). I have told you already to do exactly as suggested in the docs.

iksil

It's just that i'd like to know who's uploading anything to my site. Username is 'tester' and password '123456'.

Thanks in advance.

About the docs, I've just rechecked it once more time:

"If you are experiencing issues with coppermine's upload process, temporarily change your coppermine settings as suggested below to get more detailed error messages:"

"Go to your coppermine page and log in as admin" --- done
"Go to the config screen" --- done
"Scroll to the bottom of the page"
"Expand the "Maintenance settings" section by clicking on it"  --- done
"Enable debug mode for everyone"  --- done
"Leave display of notices switched off"  --- done (i'm supposed to check 'No')
"Save the new settings by clicking on "Save new configuration" " --- done
"Go to the "groups" panel"
"Set the upload form configuration for all groups to "Single file uploads only" (set File upload boxes to "1", URI upload boxes to "0" and No. of boxes to "fixed")"  --- done
"Save your new settings"  --- done
"Then try to upload (using http uploads, even if you experienced troubles using another upload method)"  --- done

"- you should get a more detailed error message that tells you what exactly goes wrong with your uploads."

I still get the same

Error message is self explanatory - You need ImageMagick or GD on the server to use Coppermine. You don't have GD so check with your webhost if ImageMagick is installed.

My webhost hasn't replied yet. The matter is that 2 weeks ago everything worked fine, and suddenly i'm not able to add pics to the albums. I haven't changed any parameters and i'm the only admin managing the gallery. I've checked when the files (the ones out of the 'albums' folder) of the gallery have been modified for last time and dates are the same (most are from 5th August 2006, and some from early november, when everything was still fine with uploading).

Then your host must have removed GD support, possibly by accident.

My webhost has just replied "send the perl mode". What's that? Where do i find it.

Joachim Müller

If you don't understand something your webhost tells you, you better ask them, instead of us.
