i'm a newbie to php and MySQL....

i uploaded all the files and i runned the install.php

i filled in all the required fields, this is wat i did:
admin account           - all
MySQL configuration  - all except "MySQL table prefix" as the default "cpg11d_"
Image magick           - left blank

i had added the MySQL db and the user in my cpanel.
Right after i click the "let's go" on the install.php, the following appear when i get to the gallery:

Parse error: parse error in /home/ilikefis/public_html/gallery2/include/functions.inc.php on line 917

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: breadcrumb() in /home/ilikefis/public_html/gallery2/index.php on line 118

i have tried to unlock and install it again a few times but my try is futile....

PLS help in the light of this....

If you haven't modified the file that shows the parse error, there are two options:
  • Your server is running a php version that is too old (see minimum requirements) - post what version of php you're running
  • Your files somehow got corrupted: download a fresh coppermine package, unzip it and upload it again to your server (overwriting all existing files). Make sure to use the proper modes in your FTP program (ASCII vs. Binary) when uploading.[/list:u]

As Gaugau said, this probably means your first download was corrupted.  Try upgrading to 1.2.1, it should work fine, and is recommended.
It has been a long time now since I did my little bit here, and have done no coding or any other such stuff since. I'm back to being a noob here
