Transfer of the photogallery to a new host?

How do I transfer the photogallery/views for each pictures and total views to a new host I was informed that the database would need to be copied and everything would be transferred? Can you please update me with the information needed to accomplish this? Basically the old host stated they couldn't handle the traffic to my site, which affected their servers. It's vital for my business continuation that the view for each pic along with the total views be transferred.
