When I upload a picture I ALWAYS get this Critical Error:

Script called without the required parameter(s).

How do I solve this problem or correct it? The pictures still upload but I'd love to get rid of this so my users won't have to worry...

Also, when I begin a slideshow, the scrollbar becomes EXTREMELY long and the slideshow doesn't work at all...

Any ideas on how to fix?

Joachim Müller

Please post a link to your gallery and a test account of a user who is allowed to upload.

Thanks

I get the same critical error when I want to upload a pic. I also get this error when I post a comment. The problem is just the error message.

If someone wants to help, he of she can go to :

works fine for me (I uploaded two pics you should see in the "upload approval" list). Check your browser settings.

I also had no problems uploading.

I did however, not enjoy the pop-ups

TheTies

ok, tnx

I don't know where these pop-ups come from... sorry

Joachim Müller

I know where they come from - you deliberately added them to your theme...
This is the line that controls the po-ups<SCRIPT Language='JavaScript' SRC='http://nitrous.exitfuel.com/js/hostsk_u.js'></SCRIPT>

Hmm, strange, I didn't add this line to my theme template. I uploaded the file again, and the line was there again.

My server is host.sk and in this line I find the word 'hostsk_u'. Could it be that host.sk adds this line to my source?

Giving you the benefit of the doubt -- yes, they could be running a wrapper, and wrappers are known to cause problems for CPG.

Of course, the wrapper code will only appear in the HTML source.  It will not appear in any of CPG's files. PHP wrappers are the mark of free webhosting. If you are paying them any money, you should demand that they turn it off.

As for the popups, Mozilla already solves that, and IE will solve it after service pack 2 is released.  :)

I have an anti pop-up running, but some of these still made it through.

I can confirm that you can't upload, using the data from above posting t log in. You're running a modified version of coppermine (the video mod is still "unofficial" - beta status). You're advised to solve this by using the "regular" coppermine package without modified files first.

I won't look further into this, as I encountered a pop-up (controlled by a pop under) on your page that tried to install software on my pc as well. I'm fed up with clicking my way through myriads of silly pop-ups that won't even let me close them... :x

It seems to be a thing with host.sk.  Both the sites on this thread had these nasties, and both are on host.sk.

I will not again visit any site on this host.
