I can see that you have read that section extra thoroughly . It clearly says that you mustn't post debug_output. It says that you have to set the number of file upload fields to 1 and the number of URI upload fields to zero. You have failed to do so. Additionally, your gallery is totally outdated - you're running cpg1.4.3, while the most recent version currently is cpg1.4.10. Upgrade, then re-read the upload troubleshooting section of the docs extra carefully and do exactly as suggested there.

I also encounter same problem. I did what manual said & what you repeat here. I set each groups number of file upload fields to 1 and number of URI upload fields to 0 & set FIXED. I also edited "Maintenance Settings" as described in manual. But when i tried to upload picture using http upload method (browser based - "Upload file" link), it gives the following critical error:

The file 'albums/userpics/P7220006~0.JPG' can't be inserted in the album

I'm using 1.4.10 version. I used Fantastico on my webhoster to install Coppermine Photo Gallery.
I'm not able to upload using any method. I also checked permission of albums, userpics, edit folders......they all are set at 777.
So plz help me, what should I do?

1) Start your own thread, don't hijack an existing one, as your issue may differ.
2) Don't use Fantastico, it sucks and doesn't come as cpg1.4.10, but only in outdated versions, so you probably don't have cpg1.4.10. Upgrade to cpg1.4.10 as suggested in our documentation
3) You haven't done as suggested in the upload troubleshooting section of the docs although I have repeated the mantra "read it and do exactly as suggested" over and over again - you're suppossed to post a link and non-admin test users account

Re-read the upload troubleshooting section, then start your own thread, doing exactly as suggested in the docs. If you fail to do so, we won't be able to help you.
