Critical error - Unable to create thumbnail or reduced size image.

Dear Coppermine Superusers...

I'm using coppermine since 2months now, and I had not problems until yesterday when I hit by mistake the button "Restore factory Default" in the config menu.
Since yesterday I desperate in trying all the method I founds in the forum, documents... without success.

Changed the maintenance settings like mentioned, verified all folders etc.

I have certainly missed something but do not know what to do now. I cannot upload pictures as the admin of my gallery.

Dear Stramm,

Thank you very much for your answer. This is exactly what I have done several times... and in order to be sure that I really did it, I just did it once more. The error message is still the same, I'm login as the Admin and Coppermine has identified me as the user 1. (which is the case as I installed and created this gallery). This is the error message I'm getting. "The file 'albums/userpics/10001/thumb_DSC01739.jpg' can't be inserted in the album - Unable to create thumbnail or reduced size image. - File: /home/www/e798e4db774f2cc13f51a37b7170de56/web/galleryh2o/db_input.php - Line: 402 ".

I did followed step by step all the points mentioned into the link you gave me (which I also found this morning into the forum many times)... but it still does not work.

It has also copied pictures into the userpics/10001... and this was the first time since the last two months. I have loaded about 1000 pictures without issues, but now I do not know what to do.
