I've got a recently installed Gallery and have been upping the "Max size for uploaded files (KB)" as I see what's reasonable.

My problem is that the existing users are stuck with the lower limit and don't gain the extra space when I increased it. Is there a table I can hunt down in the database to update those users or something else anyone I can do?.

Thanks for reading this,

This is not the case. The new limit applies to everyone as soon as you set it.

I think you are actually talking about quotas. The 'Max size for uploaded files (KB)' refers to the maximum size for a single file uploaded to the gallery. To control the total amount of space a user is permitted for all his/her files you need to adjust the quota for their group on the groups page.

Please watch your attitude on these forums.

Ok sir,

Sorry about the tone, but you sounded a little dismissive to me.

I thank you for the info. You were right. I was misinterpreting the "Max size for uploaded files (KB)" setting for the "Quota" setting in the Groups panel (which I missed completely). I think I got stuck on it because the two settings were 1024 by default so I kept seeing that number in Error message.

Peace
