I have searched but cant find deinate amswer, for some reason when i click on admin mode it doesnt work, i just go back to the album list page, any ideas? although its been fine the last couple of weeks >:(

When you click Admin Mode, two visual things should happen.  First, you should briefly see the message:  Entering Admin Mode...  Second, the link where Admin Mode used to be should now read User Mode.  You should also see:  Logout [Admin]

If this is what you see, what is the specific problem?

Maybe you are trying to configure the gallery?  If so, go into Admin Mode and then click on Config.
