How do I prevent any users to download pictures from the gallery?

This has been asked very often: you can trick some newbies by restricting right-click and remove the image toolbar from IE6, but this is only a very weak protection. Generally speaking: you can't really prevent users from downloading the pic - once a pic is visible in their browser, it has been transferred to their client (that's how the www works). If pictures have to remain private under all circumstances, don't publish them on the internet. If you want to keep users from ripping your pics off and displaying them as their works, I suggest you apply a watermark to all pictures (preferrably before you upload them!).

If I already did upload all the pics... is there anyway to put watermark on it?

Although you have been told a few times now, here once again:

1) Before you post, read the FAQ
2) If you can't find anything there, use the Forums Search function
3) Use Search again with different keywords
4) Use search a third time, just to be sure
5) Ask your unanswered question in the RIGHT board

A Watermark hack is floating around since the early days of cm in the hacks forum. And if you need to protect your images from downloading, don't upload them, this is the only secure method!

There's no real way to stop people from stealing your images. The best way to take care of this is to watermark your images with your websites name. That way, if they steal it and post it somewhere, at least they're advertising your site.

Even with the "right click" disabled, the latest browsers will allow you to save the pictures anyway just by putting your mouse over it.

If you're wanting to stop people from stealing your bandwidth, however, by linking to pictures on your site, check out a post I made over at vbulletin.com
