thumbnails to lightbox!!

First off coppermine's ability to tie in with wordpress and display the album as numerous thumbnails is exactly what I was looking for. 

My question comes from the possible ability to go from the thumbnails when clicked to the lightbox plugin bypassing the whole coppermine interface for a clean user experience? 

Still having the core app to upload photos! 

has anyone ever gone from thumbnails to full images without switching pages to coppermine gallery?

There are several solutions for doing things like this. Here's one - http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?topic=34360.0 and if you search I'm sure you'll find others. As for the lightbox plugin, can you post a link as the word "lightbox" has a couple of different identities here.
