Hello guys!

I know, long time no see in here :)

Well, first of all, i'd like to tell everyone, that CPG is the best script for photo albums, i've been traveling these months, and I've showed my website to all the people i met... well, couldn't expect more, CPG helps to make my website very atractive, i guess, it does with all you other guys.

Thanks to Desenv team, those who kept this amazing project running.
And well, Poor kids are those who have to use FOTOLOG (hehehe).

Well, i got a question to all of you.
I got a server with Unlimited MySQL databases, etc...

I have a CPG 1.1.0 installed in a different directory/url:
http://album.domain.com
Is it possible (how) to install a new version (1.2.0), for example:
http:// test.domain.com

Once i tried to do it, but i did not succeded.
Even if i create different DataBases, the 2 galleries always shared the same comments, pictures, etc...

Is there a solution?

Thanks all!

Casper

You can have as many installations as you want, even using the same database, BUT with different table prefixes.

If your 2 installations were using the same tables, the info in config.inc.php must have been incorrect in one of them, ie, it used the db info from the other install.

It is advised you use version 1.2.1.  and upgrade your first install
It has been a long time now since I did my little bit here, and have done no coding or any other such stuff since. I'm back to being a noob here

Thx Casper!

You were right, both instalations were using the same prefix.
So they did shared the same DB.

Well, that's it.
Thanks again.
