Smileys in the {CAPTION} section

Hi, I can understand that some prefered smileys not to be showned in the {CAPTION} due to preformance..

..but how do I activate or add this feature (if its not allready implemented, I would sure aprisiate if it can be added)

if some has a link for an old topic about this, I would be glad to see it too
