I want to remove/hide the input namebox from the add comments, and have the login name added/used automatically instead - would this be possible?

Joachim Müller

When a user is logged in, the name input box is hidden anyway. Only guests see the name input field (if you allow anonymous comments). Not sure what you mean.

if you login as registred user, then it still shows the inputbox for the add comments - and if you dont fill in a name, it would say you forgot to fill in a name. If you then add a name even you allready are logged in as registred user.. it would post the name you used to login with, and not the one you typed.

..but mainly I just want it removed or hidden, so it post the comment with the loggin name automatically, and if its a guest that post it could just use the name Guest as default (so all guest are called guest) they can differ in the comment, but the nametitle should just be Guest.

Nibbler

It already does this. Check out the demo.

If your gallery does not do this then post a link + test account.

thx, I added the stram mod in order to have the pms available, and somehow it solved the comment inputbox issue - hehe

..im sorry for these kindof questions, hope its okey

I dislike posting project links in public (I will post them in pm instead)

Joachim Müller

Nobody has asked for a PM. Nibbler has asked you to post a link and non-admin test user account. Do not send unsolicited PMs, especially not to devs/supporters.

Do as suggested and post the needed info publicly if you want support.
