I've uploaded all files. Done everything in the FAQ and Read me documents. and now I'm at the point to install the gallery. I open http://www.yoursite.com/coppermine/install
of course I add my own address there, but I'm not (yet) posting it, to prevent someone to access it.
But anyways, when Iopen that, I get lots of PHP codes. is this normal or am I missing something?
And if this is normal, waht should I do next, because I see nothing, what to do now.

help plz  ??? ???

Does the server have PHP installed?

Orlando-D

Yes it does.

I try to open the install.php file with my ftp program, it opens ftp://mywebsitenamehere/coppermine/install.php

and that's when I bump into all those php codes.

So i have no idea where to go from here ???

oh and when i try to access it through http://
I get this:

QuoteWarning: require(include/sql_parse.php) [function.require]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /www/9999mb.com/a/m/y/mywebsitenamecomeshere/htdocs/cpg144/install.php on line 36

Fatal error: require() [function.require]: Failed opening required 'include/sql_parse.php' (include_path='.:/usr/share/php') in /www/9999mb.com/a/m/y/mywebsitenamecomeshere/htdocs/cpg144/install.php on line 36

of course where I wrote mywebsitenamecomeshere is where my website name comes :)

OK, the error message is telling you that you have not uploaded the file include/sql_parse.php. You need to upload all the files that were in the download package before you can start installing Coppermine.

Also make sure you are installing the current version of Coppermine, 1.4.10
