Where do I edit the size of the player?

I would like to change the size of the player, which file do I edit?

I know they can be edited there, but I want to edit the default size for every player. I know it's in the php code, but I don't know which file. I don't want to edit each individual file, that would be very time consuming.

For example the default size for WMA player is larger than the default size for QT. I have changed the associations for file types in the database, but now there is a white frame around the player I would like to get rid of.

Copy the function theme_html_picture() from the sample theme into your theme.php and modify it.
