Updated marker for galleries

I want to mark galleries that have new / updated content with an "UPDATED" tag for a period of time, say 5 days after the upload.

For example, if a user uploads another gallery to an existing category, the main title page marks the category as updated for 5 days.

I've tried writing this myself but it didn't work properly.  Any ideas ?

Possible if you code it. A mod like the one you're looking for hasn't been posted yet afaik.
