create album for my users

hello, i have a bunch of pics from a heap of my users that i'd like to put into their own albums.

for some reason i can't find how to create albums for users and upload stuff to them on their behalf.

at the very least i'd like to create an album myself and then reassign it to them to take over.

am i missing something or is this (fairly simple) functionality completely missing and must be done in phpmyadmin?

Feature doesn't exist in Coppermine's user interface (yet), so yes: you'll have to use phpMyAdmin to change the ownership of the files after having uploaded them for your users.
