thumbnail images on specified category?

I have two categories on my board containg several gallieries in each one.

Is it possible just to display the last upload image thumbnail (main index page) on a specified category? In my case one category with thumbnails and one category without.

to explain a bit better
In the control panel configuration the setting "Show first level album thumbnails in categories" affects all categories. Is there a way to configure it for specified categories?
