Forums and running Coppermine Standalone?

I have a SMF and I want to use coppermine but I don't want to integrate it. Can I set it up so you don't need to register an account to use it? Basically I want to keep it wide open and I'll approve photos as they come in.

Yeah. Allow unlogged users access in config and upload permissions on the groups page.
