pagenumbers are not showing

Hello,

Firstly sorry for my bad English.

I have a problem with a selfmade theme. It is for an album integrated with phpBB2.

The address of the testsite : http://www.asygo.be/testalbum, username: tester, pass: test.
 
The problem: when you  choose "Category one" you see below on the left for "SubCategory one" 8 albums on 2 page(s) and on the right 1 and 2 (page numbers).
When you however choose "SubCategory one" immediately you see below on the left 8 albums on 2 page (s) but on the right nothing!
If you examine the sourcecode of the two choices the page numbers are there at all two. Why they are visible on the first page and not on the otherone.

I think that I spoiled something by making the theme(in theme.php?) because in for example the default or fruity theme is everything
okay.

I cannot find what is wrong. Can someone make me clear in which part of the file I must search and maybe what is wrong?.
