One big picture on the main page?

Greetings,
I'd like to modify the mainpage by adding one image in a normal size (then keep the rest of it the way it is). Do I edit the template or is there a better way?
Saw something about a picture of the week plug-in, can that that do it? Is that included in the stramm modpack?
