mysql problem, I dont get it

Hi guys! I have this problem:

Could not create a mySQL connection, please check the SQL values entered

MySQL error was : Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock' (2)

Why's that?
I already have a coppermine gallery installed over at my server:

http://riley-smith.net/gallery

And I want to install another one here:

http://riley-smith.net/deanjo/gallery

But the message above shows up everytime I try to install the gallery. I'm using the same database of riley-smith.net/gallery, maybe is because of that? I have to create another MySQL account?

Please someone who wants to help me out with this? T_T  :'( :'(

Check all values a second time, check if the user exists, check if the mysql socks file is located where requested, if not create a symlink to its location or edit the MySQL configuration file /etc/my.cnf
Check the error logs etc.

if you do not know your way around, better ask your host.
