Corrupted "hit stats" MySql

It seems that I have a corrupted "hit stats" in mysql, disabling the viewing of pictures !?
When I disable "detailed hit stats", then cpg works OK (don't know if it really works OK, but it looks like it does ;-)
Is it possible to repair cpg147_hit_stats, and if not, do you know if it is OK to work with the disabled "hit stats"?

Appreciate your help !

(Btw I'm using CPG 1.4.10)
