Right now I have this site just built up  http://www.chiglish.net  It is a combination of phpbb 2.0.22 and coppermine 1.4.10.  With coppermine index as my site front page.  My default language for both is set to chinese simplified

coppermine does have the option to pick a language even if a user is not logged in so everything is fine.  But when my friends tried Register, they were brought to the phpbb login screen, where the display was not in the language they previously chose, as they originally thought.

here is my question, shouldn't the bridge also unite the language setting on both sides as well?

thanks

No. The bridge system follows a policy of minimum interference with the operation of the bridged application.

???   emm..... any suggestions on this situation?  Because in my case I do need that option.

You need to find out how the phpbb language system works and code a way to alter it.
