I don't want anyone to register or login.
I assume to login for admin I can type in the URL to admin (/coppermine/login.php?referer=index.php) and enter password.
Can I remove the links to register and login in the template so they don't appear in the navigation?

Disable registration in config. Search the board for how to remove the login link.
