Hi,

i am wanting to set up my site so users can pay a subscription fee to show their photos. Simply they pay an amount for a certain amount of MB ... is there anything around like this. ...  ( PS i am a learner, so pls be gentle ) .... many thanks

Not that i am aware of.

If i get you correctly you want an automated system where the user pays (through PayPal or similair) a x amount of money which then translates into a x amount of mb on the coppermine gallery you run.

I think your better of asking this thread to be moved to the freelancers part of this board. It does not look like there is any plugin or mod which does this.

As Hein suggested, such a feature  doesn't exist afaik (neither built-in nor as mod/plugin). Coming up with the needed code changes is not trivial.
Imo you better ask yourself this question: why should users sign up and pay something on your site that they could have for free somewhere else? You'd have to offer an additional bonus; just some MB's of webspace is not enough. The only bonus that comes to mind would be if your site (or a site you have control over) would have a high (page-)rank and importance (huge traffic) that would give your users additional benefit (traffic). If this is not the case, I suggest forgetting about the whole idea: with Flickr and many other excellent picture hosts around, your idea is not new nor profitable, especially if you're a newbie.
