My subject line says it all. Some of my logged in visitors get confused with all the admin mode links. Is it possible to chnage the config to make logged in visitors automatically go into user mode?

Hein Traag

That's default. When someone registers they go into the Registered user group. Unless you add the users to the Admin group they will not see admin related links. Clarify your problem and post your website link and test username and password.

There's no admin mode/user mode toggle for non-admins in cpg1.4.x, so I pressume you must be using an outdated, unsupported version of coppermine. If this is the case, there's only one recommendation that we could give: upgrade! If you need details, post a link to your gallery.

Thanks, Hein and GauGau, for pointing me in the right direction. The problem was that I tried to get too complicated with groups, users, permissions, etc., I streamlined things and the admin menu issue resolved itself.
