help for videos thumbnails generator

Coopermine can't generate thumbails for videos.

I have a problem looking for a freeware wich could generate thumbnails for different video files (wmf , mpeg ...) from now I didn't find anyone .

so could you give me advise about a way to generate thumbnails for video?
